Established in 2009, Butte Builders Exchange is known for offering blueprint printing services in Butte and the surrounding areas. Our scope of services includes blueprint printing, online plan viewing, membership, and plan advertising. We cater to architects, engineers, subcontractors, builders and general contractors who handle both individual projects as well as multi-building projects. Although our company primarily serves Southwest Montana, we list projects and offer solutions to all of Montana as well. Butte Builders Exchange is affiliated with all other plan rooms and builders exchanges in Montana through MontanaBid.com, and are also affiliated with those in Washington, Idaho and Oregon through NWIPCA – Northwest Independent Plan Center Association.

Our Services

Blueprint Printing

Our company caters to the construction community that requires large prints, copies, and scans of architectural and engineering designs. Blueprints are usually printed to scale on plain paper, but they can also be reduced or enlarged. We also print plans on water/tear-resistant poly-paper for contractors whose plans get beat up on the job site.

Online Plan Viewing

Plans listed as online only are due to the concerted effort to pick up as many jobs in Montana and neighboring states as possible. Plans can only be viewed with a paid membership. All construction documents are received electronically and may be downloaded to perform a take-off or view on your own PC. You can also order a hardcopy of the blueprints or project manual to perform your take-off or take to your job site.

Membership Services

For an annual fee, members receive a weekly newsletter listing projects put out for bid, online access to view project plans and specifications, order items to be printed, and receive daily updates, such as project addenda or other notices.

Advertising Construction Projects

Architects & Engineers
All documents and information for bidding projects can be uploaded to MontanaBid.com, and there is no fee for this service. Your construction projects are electronically delivered daily to all of our general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, along with any addenda or changes to the project.
